If Gergely Gyenes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. István Mester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ádám Bodnár in the 10th minute of the match. Zsombor Madaras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without István Mester having to interfere. In the 16th minute Ákos Fülöp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but István Mester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. zsolt hlavaj were furious when Dániel Danka was red carded, 20 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of AC Milan booed when zsolt hlavaj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dániel Danka didn't get a good kick on the ball. AC Milan's Sándor Szőke got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The nice shot from Sándor Szőke in the 32ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Károly Faragó had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zsombor Madaras in the 35th minute of play forced AC Milan's goalkeeper István Mester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zsombor Madaras in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg István Mester saved AC Milan from getting behind. Sándor Szőke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Károly Faragó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gergely Gyenes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Félix Kondor hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Zsombor Madaras made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, AC Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gábor Szeszák to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in AC Milan's zone, Zsombor Madaras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. István Mester came out of the goal and Zsombor Madaras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zsombor Madaras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When János Kelemen came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the zsolt hlavaj fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that János Kelemen couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the game, Ádám Bodnár was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. zsolt hlavaj's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Milan the free kick. After 65 played minutes zsolt hlavaj got a freekick which was hit by Ádám Bodnár. Zsombor Madaras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without István Mester having to interfere. In the 80th minute, János Kelemen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Károly Faragó made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sándor Szőke in the 81st minute of play. István Mester made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zsombor Madaras in the 83rd minute. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind AC Milan's goalkeeper István Mester, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. János Kelemen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but István Mester read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Richárd Havasi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but István Mester made a huge save. If Zsombor Madaras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
