In the 8thth minute of the game Mátyás Földes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but real madrid's János Tóth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Imre Titkos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Andor Vörös made a huge save. real madrid's Imre Titkos came free and shot a quick shot against goal 14 minutes in the game, fortunately Andor Vörös had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Andor Vörös showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertold Pásztor in the 16th minute of the match. Bertold Pásztor had several of the Iborfia's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Andor Vörös as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Imre Titkos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Imre Titkos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andor Vörös having to interfere. In the 31st minute of the match Gergely Rahner sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andor Vörös skillfully saved the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Iborfia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jácint Major to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, real madrid's Bertold Pásztor dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 39 minutes, Gábor Veress made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. real madrid's János Tóth tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 43rd minute, Kornél Szabó made a precise shot to the right of János Tóth. real madrid's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Gábor Veress recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gábor Veress to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Imre Titkos in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andor Vörös prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Gábor Veress managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iborfia's supporters rose to their feet, but Gábor Veress was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. János Tóth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Iborfia's zone, Bertold Pásztor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andor Vörös came out of the goal and Bertold Pásztor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bertold Pásztor scored 3-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andor Vörös, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute, Imre Titkos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gábor Veress fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without János Tóth having to interfere. If Gábor Veress had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, real madrid's János Tóth got control of the ball when Kornél Szabó tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, real madrid's Szabolcs Faragó got a free kick in the 75th minute. Bertold Pásztor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Andor Vörös tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gábor Veress had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 played minutes real madrid got a freekick which was hit by Gergely Páncsics. János Tóth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gábor Veress, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Mátyás Földes struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. János Tóth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Iborfia. Bertold Pásztor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andor Vörös having to make a save. In the 91st minute Bertold Pásztor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andor Vörös saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Imre Titkos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andor Vörös having to interfere.
