The audience thought a goal was coming when Jácint Berecz got free with Dániel Iványi in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olivér Sass blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Márton Tolnai having to make a save. Olivér Sass charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olivér Sass the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th match minute, Tímár FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olivér Sass to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristóf Mészáros in the 17th minute of play forced Tímár FC's goalkeeper Dániel Iványi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 minutes of play Tímár FC's Olivér Sass was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 19th match minute, Tímár FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olivér Sass to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Erik Rahner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Illés Sánta in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Márton Tolnai saved WEST HAM UNITED from getting behind. In the 27th minute Kristóf Mészáros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dániel Iványi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Márton Tolnai came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Tímár FC's Illés Sánta. But to his dismay, Illés Sánta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Sándor Jónás came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Tímár FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sándor Jónás couldn't finish the play. Illés Sánta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márton Tolnai having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in WEST HAM UNITED's zone, Illés Sánta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Márton Tolnai came out of the goal and Illés Sánta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Márton Tolnai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Illés Sánta in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With 54 minutes on the clock, Szabolcs Csányi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave WEST HAM UNITED a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sándor Udvari, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tímár FC's Dániel Iványi. 2-2. After some careless play in the Tímár FC defense, Jácint Berecz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dániel Iványi. The Tímár FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dániel Iványi should have stopped the shot. Dániel Iványi came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by WEST HAM UNITED's András Szakál. But to his dismay, András Szakál quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. After a defensive mix-up in WEST HAM UNITED's zone, Sándor Jónás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Márton Tolnai came out of the goal and Sándor Jónás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Rómeó Kiprich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tímár FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rómeó Kiprich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jeromos Kerekes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sándor Jónás blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Márton Tolnai having to make a save. In the 90th minute, Rómeó Kiprich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute, Rómeó Kiprich made a precise shot to the right of Márton Tolnai. WEST HAM UNITED's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Sándor Jónás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tímár FC's Rómeó Kiprich got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Many of Tímár FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Tímár FC may have spent more time on the ball, but WEST HAM UNITED were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
