Ferenc Vásárhelyi scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Árpád Dárdai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Róbert Hujber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Géza Polyák having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Gemzse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by György Lantos to maneuver through the defense. When Dénes Tisza came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Õr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dénes Tisza couldn't finish the play. After 18 minutes, Béla Dósa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gemzse and the Õr players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Béla Dósa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olivér Pádár sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Árpád Dárdai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferenc Vásárhelyi in the 24th minute of play. Géza Polyák stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Róbert Hujber's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Gemzse's goal looked a bit too open when Dénes Tisza came free, but Árpád Dárdai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Géza Polyák made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when György Lantos sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the match, Õr's goalkeeper Géza Polyák had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugó Vadas. Árpád Dárdai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Árpád Dárdai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Szilárd Erdôs went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 47 minutes into the match, Gemzse's goal looked a bit too open when Dénes Tisza came free, but Árpád Dárdai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Árpád Dárdai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szilárd Erdôs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Dénes Tisza could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Árpád Dárdai however easily saved by the left post. Soma Fitos's late challenge caught a Õr's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Soma Fitos helped the player get up and apologised. Soma Fitos kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Gemzse's goalkeeper Árpád Dárdai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dénes Tisza. If Róbert Hujber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Õr's Géza Polyák played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by György Lantos in the 63rd minute of play. If Dénes Tisza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. A collision led to Õr getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Olivér Pádár hit a great ball. Géza Polyák made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Vágner in the 82nd minute of play. When Hugó Vadas, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 83 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Géza Polyák was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Gemzse's Árpád Dárdai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Gemzse from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Gemzse's Frigyes Rigó got a free kick in the 88th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Õr's zone, Róbert Hujber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Géza Polyák came out of the goal and Róbert Hujber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dénes Tisza's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Árpád Dárdai firmly grabbed it by the left post.
