Illés Szigethy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kornél Bodrogis short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Illés Szigethy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 14th minute József Novák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Károly Andrássy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barnabás Bíró hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Simon Varga hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, István Erdei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, KARCAG FC's goal looked a bit too open when József Novák came free, but Károly Andrássy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zoltán Zádori scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Károly Andrássy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 29 minutes, Zoltán Zádori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Páprád's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zoltán Zádori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 38 minutes, Barnabás Bíró mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KARCAG FC and the Páprád players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Páprád booed when KARCAG FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnabás Bíró didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfréd Döbrögi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Illés Szigethy 42 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the game, Kálmán Sárkány was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KARCAG FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Páprád the free kick. In the 48th minute, Kálmán Sárkány hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zoltán Zádori made a kick off. Illés Szigethy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kornél Bodrogi, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. László Földesi hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. A collision led to KARCAG FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. In the 79th minute, Alfréd Döbrögi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KARCAG FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. If Kornél Bodrogi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 85 minutes into the game, Alfréd Döbrögi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Illés Szigethy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Károly Andrássy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoltán Zádori, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Kornél Bodrogi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Illés Szigethy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jácint Tokody was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Páprád fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! KARCAG FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
