Attila Kocsis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by István Balogh in the 19th minute of play forced Páprád's goalkeeper Illés Szigethy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pál Sámuel during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Páprád's Pál Sámuel got a free kick in the 47th minute. István Balogh kicked well hit freekick during the 49th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Zsolt Tisza's late challenge caught a Páprád's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zsolt Tisza helped the player get up and apologised. Zsolt Tisza kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After having played for 63 minutes, István Balogh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gittegylet's supporters crossed their fingers, but István Balogh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. István Balogh struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Illés Szigethy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gittegylet. Gittegylet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Attila Kocsis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Zsolt Tisza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gittegylet's supporters rose to their feet, but Zsolt Tisza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Illés Szigethy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th match minute, Páprád was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dénes Bányai to maneuver through the defense. Illés Szigethy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attila Kocsis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute of the match Dénes Bányai shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Péter Szász showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Attila Sárkány fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gittegylet's protests and gave Attila Sárkány a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Páprád booed when Gittegylet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Attila Sárkány didn't get a good kick on the ball. József Novák fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Péter Szász having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Attila Sárkány got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute, István Balogh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gittegylet were furious when Róbert Kalmár was red carded, 97 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 97th minute, one of Gittegylet:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gittegylet. The referee gave Páprád a penalty, 101 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jácint Tokody, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gittegylet's Péter Szász. 1-4. Gittegylet played a much better game than Páprád and deserved their victory. The Páprád players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
