Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bánk Dala got the match started through his kick off. János Pálffy hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Csongor Végh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeromos Császár having to interfere. Gábor Miklós took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeromos Császár. Jeromos Császár dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Diósgyőri FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. György Grósz hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Gábor Miklós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeromos Császár saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gyula Erdei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 44 minutes, Csongor Végh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wooden Legs FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Csongor Végh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gábor Miklós to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, István Rácz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 52 minutes into the match, Diósgyőri FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gábor Miklós came free, but Jeromos Császár reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Bánk Dala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gábor Miklós struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Jeromos Császár didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wooden Legs FC. 62 minutes into the match, Csongor Végh notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Diósgyőri FC's Jeromos Császár. Jeromos Császár was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 67th minute Bánk Dala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Soma Káposztás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Soma Káposztás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bánk Dala, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. György Grósz's late challenge caught a Wooden Legs FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. György Grósz helped the player get up and apologised. György Grósz hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Viktor Hatvani sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Jeromos Császár threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Viktor Hatvani this time. Soma Káposztás came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Diósgyőri FC's Bánk Dala. But to his dismay, Bánk Dala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 95 minutes into the match, Rafael Vásárhelyi notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Wooden Legs FC's Soma Káposztás. Soma Káposztás was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
