Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bánk Dala got the match started through his kick off. Diósgyőri VTK's Zsolt Gál played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bánk Dala in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Diósgyőri VTK's goal looked a bit too open when Bánk Dala came free, but Zsolt Gál reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 9 minutes, Rafael Vásárhelyi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diósgyőri FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Vásárhelyi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bánk Dala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Zsolt Gál tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Vásárhelyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zsolt Gál having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Rafael Vásárhelyi made a precise shot to the right of Zsolt Gál. Diósgyőri VTK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Zsolt Gál made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bánk Dala in the 25th minute of play. Bánk Dala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 30 minutes into the match, Diósgyőri VTK's goal looked a bit too open when Bánk Dala came free, but Zsolt Gál reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Vásárhelyi in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zsolt Gál, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bánk Dala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zsolt Gál having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bánk Dala in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zsolt Gál saved Diósgyőri VTK from getting behind. After 47 minutes of play, Diósgyőri FC's Rafael Vásárhelyi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zsolt Gál was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

If Csanád Pál-Szabó had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute György Grósz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zsolt Gál saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Diósgyőri FC's Rafael Vásárhelyi in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Diósgyőri VTK's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 76 minutes, Rafael Vásárhelyi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. If Bánk Dala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Rafael Vásárhelyi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zsolt Gál was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Bánk Dala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zsolt Gál having to interfere. Rafael Vásárhelyi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Zsolt Gál tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bánk Dala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zsolt Gál made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Vásárhelyi in the 93rd minute of play. Rafael Vásárhelyi struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Zsolt Gál didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diósgyőri FC. When the referee ended the match the Diósgyőri FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
