Alsónémedi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Béla Vámosi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rudolf Udvarhelyi came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Alsónémedi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudolf Udvarhelyi couldn't finish the play. Béla Vámosi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antal Szép having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Rudolf Udvarhelyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antal Szép saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Olivér Bencik almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Aranycsapat's Antal Szép did a great save. Károly Döbrögi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ábel Hajdú tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zsigmond Újfalussy during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zalán Sallay in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ábel Hajdú saved Alsónémedi from getting behind. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Béla Vámosi sped through Aranycsapat's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Antal Szép.
