The audience thought a goal was coming when János Lantos got free with Ábel Hajdú in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. István Gyurkovics made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zsombor Veress in the 9th minute of play. Alsónémedi's Béla Vámosi got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. István Gyurkovics showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Udvarhelyi in the 93rd minute of the match. After 95 played minutes Alsónémedi got a freekick which was hit by Zsombor Veress. When the final whistle sounded Alsónémedi left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than 1988 Déli fc.
