Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 7 played minutes Nagybajcs got a freekick which was hit by Albert Erőss. After a rather tough play, Aranycsapat's Bálint Ferenczy got a free kick in the 11th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Géza Bollobás during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, Géza Bollobás hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute of the match Nagybajcs got a corner. Aranycsapat's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lajos Keresztes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Lajos Keresztes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Aranycsapat's Antal Szép did a great save. György Baróti was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Károly Döbrögi took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vince Vajda. Vince Vajda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Zalán Sallay struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Vince Vajda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aranycsapat. In the 33rd minute, Péter Péter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 37 minutes, Károly Döbrögi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aranycsapat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Károly Döbrögi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Pál Major had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Vince Vajda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zalán Sallay, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Nagybajcs's zone, Zalán Sallay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vince Vajda came out of the goal and Zalán Sallay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aranycsapat's Zalán Sallay got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Nagybajcs's Albert Erőss got a free kick in the 66th minute. Zalán Sallay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zalán Sallay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Vince Vajda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albert Erőss took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Antal Szép. Aranycsapat's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Nagybajcs supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nagybajcs would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
