When Endre Berényi came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Beregszász FC fans jumped to their feet. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcell Danka to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Suriname FC's zone, Endre Berényi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tamás György came out of the goal and Endre Berényi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Szilveszter Havas hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Marcell Danka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Endre Tolnay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tamás György having to interfere. Suriname FC's Tamás György played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Endre Tolnay in the 78th minute of play.
