The audience was convinced that Lajos Szegedi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Csaba Gera was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. The supporters of Nagyvejke booed when Császár MTE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zoltán Czibor didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norbert Vályogos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ottó Halász received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Norbert Vályogos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Nagyvejke's goal looked a bit too open when Ottó Halász came free, but Norbert Vályogos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norbert Vályogos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ottó Halász, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Ákos Fejes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Lajos Szegedi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Zoltán Czibor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nagyvejke had played much better football throughout.
