Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when László Grosics took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bálint Vásárhelyi in the 3rd minute of play forced Somogyjád's goalkeeper József Herczegh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 6 minutes, Ábel Bökönyi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Somogyjád's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ábel Bökönyi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute, László Grosics ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. József Herczegh was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. József Herczegh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bálint Vásárhelyi in the 26th minute of play. Ábel Bökönyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Bálint Vásárhelyi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of József Herczegh. Somogyjád's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bálint Vásárhelyi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ábel Bökönyi in the 39th minute of play forced Cserháthaláp Spartacus's goalkeeper Andor Bernáth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Máté Dala sped through Cserháthaláp Spartacus's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andor Bernáth. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ábel Bökönyi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Cserháthaláp Spartacus's zone, Máté Dala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andor Bernáth came out of the goal and Máté Dala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Máté Dala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ábel Bökönyi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andor Bernáth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. László Grosics was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. Cserháthaláp Spartacus's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Máté Dala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Somogyjád's zone, Bálint Vásárhelyi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. József Herczegh came out of the goal and Bálint Vásárhelyi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bálint Vásárhelyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ábel Bökönyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Cserháthaláp Spartacus getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ottó Szegedi hit a great ball. A collision led to Somogyjád getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Zakariás Tulipán hit a great ball. If László Grosics had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 minutes, Marcell Balázs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cserháthaláp Spartacus and the Somogyjád players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Somogyjád booed when Cserháthaláp Spartacus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcell Balázs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ábel Bökönyi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. József Herczegh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from László Grosics, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bálint Vásárhelyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
