The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Japacwelu United's Ádám Fábián played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by József Fülep in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the game, Leó Barta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Japacwelu United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abaújvár the free kick. Tamás Farkas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sándor Gellért having to interfere. Tamás Farkas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 17th minute. Japacwelu United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Benjámin Honti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abaújvár's Sándor Gellért played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tamás Farkas in the 27th minute of play. When Benjámin Honti came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Abaújvár fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjámin Honti couldn't finish the play. If József Fülep had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Zalán Horváth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ádám Fábián showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from József Fülep, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 42 minutes into the match, József Fülep had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ádám Fábián. Japacwelu United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that József Fülep was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Benjámin Honti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ádám Fábián read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. 2-1 became the score in the 47th minute when Tamás Farkas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tamás Farkas made a kick off. In the 57th match minute, Japacwelu United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Géza Laczkó to maneuver through the defense. Ádám Fábián showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from József Fülep, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 65th play minute Benjámin Honti came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ádám Fábián. 2-3. 77 minutes into the match, Japacwelu United's Tamás Farkas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sándor Gellért narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th minute József Fülep shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ádám Fábián saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If József Fülep had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Benjámin Honti came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Abaújvár fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjámin Honti couldn't finish the play. The Abaújvár players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
