Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Álmos Sóti made the kick off which started today's match. Károly Buzánszki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcell Pápai in the 2nd minute of the match. Tamás Dudás hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Tamás Dudás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andor Sámuel having to interfere. Tamás Dudás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Álmos Sóti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Andor Sámuel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Gergely Czene managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diósgyri VTK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gergely Czene was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Károly Buzánszki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute, Álmos Sóti reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Andor Sámuel. The goal made the score 1-0. Károly Buzánszki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Balázs Héj went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 23 minutes, Csaba Ábrahám mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diósgyri VTK and the Csepel FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Csaba Ábrahám hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. When Tamás Dudás came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Csepel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tamás Dudás couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Balázs Héj's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Károly Buzánszki was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 31st minute of the match, Tamás Dudás got a very nice opportunity to score, but Andor Sámuel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balázs Héj in the 32nd minute of play forced Csepel FC's goalkeeper Károly Buzánszki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diósgyri VTK's Gergely Czene got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Csepel FC's zone, Gergely Czene stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Károly Buzánszki came out of the goal and Gergely Czene tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gergely Czene received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Károly Buzánszki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Balázs Héj stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Csepel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Balázs Héj came free, but Károly Buzánszki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Balázs Héj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Károly Buzánszki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Csepel FC's Tamás Dudás in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Diósgyri VTK's goalie prevented a goal. Diósgyri VTK's Andor Sámuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tamás Dudás in the 63rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Balázs Héj in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Károly Buzánszki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tamás Dudás in the 75th minute of play forced Diósgyri VTK's goalkeeper Andor Sámuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lajos Sebes during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Péter Kollár shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Andor Sámuel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álmos Sóti, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 80 played minutes Diósgyri VTK got a freekick which was hit by Marcell Pápai. Álmos Sóti took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andor Sámuel. Andor Sámuel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Andor Sámuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álmos Sóti in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Álmos Sóti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Csepel FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tamás Dudás in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andor Sámuel saved Diósgyri VTK from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Csepel FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Diósgyri VTK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
