A very good chance. 11 minutes into the match, Iron Goat's Tibor Majoros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viktor Salgó narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 20 played minutes Szigetújfalu SE got a freekick which was hit by Domonkos Kutasi. Tibor Majoros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Viktor Salgó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Iron Goat's goal looked a bit too open when Gábor Seres came free, but Márió Polgár reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tibor Majoros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Salgó having to interfere. Vilmos Rahner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Viktor Salgó tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Szigetújfalu SE's Viktor Salgó played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibor Majoros in the 35th minute of play. Viktor Salgó showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilmos Rahner in the 37th minute of the match. Vilmos Rahner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viktor Salgó having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Szigetújfalu SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Péter Borbás to maneuver through the defense. Albert Farkas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viktor Salgó read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

54 minutes into the game, Albert Farkas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Iron Goat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Szigetújfalu SE the free kick. A collision led to Iron Goat getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Albert Farkas hit a great ball. Barnabás Kónya might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Márió Polgár. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barnabás Kónya ran back to his position shaking his head. Gábor Seres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Márió Polgár having to make a save. In the 63rd minute, Barnabás Kónya left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Szigetújfalu SE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 69th minute of the match Péter Borbás shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Márió Polgár showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 70th minute of the match, Vilmos Rahner got a very nice opportunity to score, but Viktor Salgó was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Viktor Salgó made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vilmos Rahner in the 71st minute. Viktor Salgó showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tibor Majoros, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After having played for 75 minutes, Tibor Majoros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iron Goat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tibor Majoros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee gave Iron Goat a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Albert Farkas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Szigetújfalu SE's Viktor Salgó. 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
