The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes, Szegvár SK's Kálmán Ludas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ágoston Újházi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Szegvár SK reached it. Ervin Pécsi scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ágoston Újházi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Szegvár SK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Szabolcs Bányai 15 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Ferdinánd Boros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Iván Tábori fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fülpösdaróc's protests and gave Iván Tábori a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Szegvár SK a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Antal Tóth, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fülpösdaróc's Ágoston Újházi. 1-2. With a little luck, Szegvár SK's Roland Tóth got control of the ball when Alex Lévai tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roland Tóth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bánk Zakariás in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 60th minute Szabolcs Bányai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Tóth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szabolcs Bányai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 65 minutes into the match, Alex Lévai notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Szegvár SK's Roland Tóth. Roland Tóth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roland Tóth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Lévai in the 89th minute of the match. Alex Lévai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roland Tóth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. A collision led to Szegvár SK getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Tamás Pécsi hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Szegvár SK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
