Zakariás Demeter was extremely unlucky when he, in the 9th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A hard shot 11 in the game by Norbert Kenesei from a close distance when the talented László Ábrahám managed to make a qualified save. Keménfa's players were relieved. In the 14th minute Róbert Nagy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but János Marton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Norbert Kenesei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nyírkarász's supporters rose to their feet, but Norbert Kenesei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. László Ábrahám breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nyírkarász's Norbert Kenesei got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Norbert Kenesei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Norbert Kenesei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the game, Bálint Toldi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Keménfa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nyírkarász the free kick. In the 24th minute, one of Keménfa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Keménfa. Kálmán Szőnyi shot the penalty kick right outside the post. If Norbert Kenesei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Márk Hellinger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without János Marton having to interfere. Zakariás Demeter received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. László Ábrahám came out and tried to block the shot, but Zakariás Demeter slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 36th minute. If Norbert Kenesei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Norbert Kenesei came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Nyírkarász fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norbert Kenesei couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Róbert Nagy to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Zakariás Demeter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nyírkarász's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zakariás Demeter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 53rdth minute of the game Zakariás Demeter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Keménfa's László Ábrahám was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. László Ábrahám made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Kenesei in the 64th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Keménfa's Róbert Nagy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of János Marton. That made the score 1-1 after 67 minutes of play. László Ábrahám stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norbert Kenesei's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Keménfa's zone, Zakariás Demeter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. László Ábrahám came out of the goal and Zakariás Demeter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 79 minutes, Norbert Kenesei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nyírkarász's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norbert Kenesei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ádám Major kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Róbert Nagy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but János Marton was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. If Márk Hellinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norbert Kenesei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without László Ábrahám having to interfere. There was no doubt that Nyírkarász were the better team. Nyírkarász's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
