The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lóránd Sári recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kálmán Major took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Csanád Szívós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Juventus 73 booed when Vajta AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Róbert Szűcs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vajta AC's Kálmán Major proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Vajta AC from getting a goal against them. Jónás Nagy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Ferenczy having to interfere. When Jónás Nagy came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Vajta AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jónás Nagy couldn't finish the play. In the 36th match minute, Vajta AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lóránd Sári to maneuver through the defense. Vajta AC's Jónás Nagy got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Béla Sallói fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vajta AC's protests and gave Béla Sallói a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Béla Sallói hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Juventus 73's zone, Jónás Nagy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrik Ferenczy came out of the goal and Jónás Nagy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Csanád Szívós made a kick off. Csanád Szívós struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Kálmán Major didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventus 73. In the 69th match minute, Juventus 73 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibor Kolozsvári to maneuver through the defense. Kálmán Major made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zsolt Baróti in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Jónás Nagy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kálmán Major showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zsolt Baróti in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th match minute, Vajta AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tamás Boros to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Juventus 73 booed when Vajta AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Béla Sallói didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lóránd Sári received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Patrik Ferenczy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vajta AC's Jónás Nagy got a free kick in the 97th minute. When Jónás Nagy got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Vajta AC. Many of Vajta AC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Vajta AC may have spent more time on the ball, but Juventus 73 were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
