Dávid Gáspár received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Imre Füzesi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Imre Szakács recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Varasd's Máté Sallói got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. András Radnai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máté Sallói in the 30th minute of play. Ferenc Győrffy hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Dávid Gáspár's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Imre Füzesi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. If Dávid Gáspár had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, Varasd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferenc Bollobás to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Imre Vadász hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tolmács EAC's András Radnai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Imre Szakács in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Krisztián Ferenczy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Imre Füzesi. Varasd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Krisztián Ferenczy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Dávid Gáspár received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Imre Füzesi came out and tried to block the shot, but Dávid Gáspár slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Varasd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tolmács EAC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Varasd's Béla Bernáth got a free kick in the 71st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Varasd's zone, Dávid Gáspár stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Imre Füzesi came out of the goal and Dávid Gáspár tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the match, Varasd's goal looked a bit too open when Krisztián Ferenczy came free, but Imre Füzesi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute Krisztián Ferenczy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Imre Füzesi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tolmács EAC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dávid Gáspár was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dávid Gáspár blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Imre Füzesi having to make a save. 91 minutes into the match, Varasd's goal looked a bit too open when Dávid Gáspár came free, but Imre Füzesi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Béla Bernáth was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
