After a defensive mix-up in Jánkmajtis SK's zone, Márió Kiss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norbert Nagy came out of the goal and Márió Kiss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilmos Cziráki in the 8th minute of play forced Szemetesek's goalkeeper Levente Csányi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gábor Szabó fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Szemetesek's protests and gave Gábor Szabó a yellow card for diving instead. Gábor Szabó hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Szemetesek's goal looked a bit too open when Vilmos Cziráki came free, but Levente Csányi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Örs Gyarmati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Levente Csányi having to interfere. Szemetesek's Levente Csányi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Szemetesek from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute, Vilmos Cziráki reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Levente Csányi. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 26th minute, Jánkmajtis SK's Vilmos Cziráki dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Márió Kiss to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Jánkmajtis SK's Norbert Nagy got control of the ball when Róbert Vas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vilmos Vén charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vilmos Vén the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute, Vilmos Vén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Szemetesek's Levente Csányi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Örs Gyarmati in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Jánkmajtis SK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Róbert Vas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Levente Csányi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Örs Gyarmati in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Szemetesek's Zsolt Döbrögi got a free kick in the 75th minute. If Vilmos Cziráki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
