If Vilmos Bacsó had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 played minutes Zalasárszeg got a freekick which was hit by Boldizsár Dárdai. Gergely Budai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kálmán Pécsi in the 33rd minute of play. Gergely Budai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kálmán Pécsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When Mózes Andrássy fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zalasárszeg's protests and gave Mózes Andrássy a yellow card for diving instead. Vilmos Bacsó sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gergely Budai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilmos Bacsó in the 39th minute of the match.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kálmán Pécsi in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gergely Budai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vilmos Bacsó sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ercsi Kinizsi's zone, Boldizsár Dárdai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norbert Kereki came out of the goal and Boldizsár Dárdai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Zalasárszeg's Géza Kolompár got a free kick in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Zalasárszeg's goalkeeper Gergely Budai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kálmán Pécsi. If Kálmán Pécsi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Bálint Vincze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 93 minutes, Bálint Vincze mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ercsi Kinizsi and the Zalasárszeg players grew even worse after the yellow card. 98 minutes into the match, Zalasárszeg's goal looked a bit too open when Vilmos Bacsó came free, but Gergely Budai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Zalasárszeg fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ercsi Kinizsi were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
