In a very dangerous position, a player in Team Somoilla fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! Szilárd Székely walked up to take care of the penalty kick. After 28 played minutes LSE got a freekick which was hit by Gyula Gyárfás. In the 32nd match minute, Team Somoilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szabolcs Jakab to maneuver through the defense. If Balázs Kolozsvári had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 39 minutes into the match, Team Somoilla's goal looked a bit too open when Balázs Kolozsvári came free, but Gergely Fodor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If István Gömöri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Márton Török got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Endre Czibor to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes LSE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gábor Végvári who took care of the corner kick. Gergely Fodor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balázs Kolozsvári, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Márton Török fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gergely Fodor having to interfere. In the 65th minute Endre Czibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Endre Tóth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Balázs Kolozsvári sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The goalkeeper, Endre Tóth, was totally fooled by Team Somoilla's Gábor Végvári, who 82 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When LSE's Márton Török in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Team Somoilla's goalie prevented a goal. Márton Török recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Balázs Kolozsvári fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gergely Fodor having to interfere. But to his dismay, Márton Török quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of Team Somoilla booed when LSE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Márton Török didn't get a good kick on the ball.
