Spectators: 7802 (Terracing: 5853, Seating: 1794, VIP seats: 155) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when József Pető kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, LSE's Csaba Láng got a free kick in the 3rd minute. When József Pető, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 6 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Endre Tóth was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gyula Gyárfás during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had been going on for 11 minutes, Szántód's Ottó Váradi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Endre Tóth. József Pető recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gergely Csernyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Endre Tóth having to interfere. Gergely Csernyi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Balázs Kolozsvári fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vencel Tímár having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Márton Török made a precise shot to the right of Vencel Tímár. Szántód's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Márton Török in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vencel Tímár prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márton Török in the 28th minute of play forced Szántód's goalkeeper Vencel Tímár to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Szántód defense, Balázs Kolozsvári kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vencel Tímár. The Szántód fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vencel Tímár should have stopped the shot. Balázs Kolozsvári sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Balázs Kolozsvári's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vencel Tímár was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Vencel Tímár made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márton Török in the 36th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Szántód's goal looked a bit too open when Balázs Kolozsvári came free, but Vencel Tímár reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gergely Csernyi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the game, Szilárd Székely was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LSE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Szántód the free kick. Szántód's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 48th minute of the game, when Dániel Kereki after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of LSE's goal. Dániel Kereki was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Balázs Kolozsvári might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vencel Tímár. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Balázs Kolozsvári ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Szántód:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of LSE:s goal. After having played for 63 minutes, Balázs Kolozsvári managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LSE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balázs Kolozsvári was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Szilárd Székely hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Szántód getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. László Véber hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Szántód's zone, Márton Török stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vencel Tímár came out of the goal and Márton Török tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute Márton Török shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vencel Tímár saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 played minutes Szántód got a freekick which was hit by Dániel Kereki. Vencel Tímár stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Balázs Kolozsvári's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gergely Csernyi in the 89th minute of play forced LSE's goalkeeper Endre Tóth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Szántód's goal looked a bit too open when Balázs Kolozsvári came free, but Vencel Tímár reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Márton Török managed to get in a good position for a shot. LSE's supporters rose to their feet, but Márton Török was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vencel Tímár breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Balázs Kolozsvári sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Márton Török received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Vencel Tímár tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Márton Török struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Vencel Tímár didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LSE. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. LSE walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
