In the 33rd minute, Ákos Balla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gábor Barabás was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Gábor Barabás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ákos Balla, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Ákos Balla might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gábor Barabás. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ákos Balla ran back to his position shaking his head.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roland Kovács to strike the kick off in the second half. Lóránt Jánosi kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Balázs Gere hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Jánosháza ETO's goal looked a bit too open when Imre Berta came free, but Márk Pádár reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Szabolcs Gyurkovics had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ákos Balla couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the match, Jánosháza ETO's Szabolcs Gyurkovics sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gábor Barabás narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Jánosháza ETO supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jánosháza ETO would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
