Spectators: 7772 (Terracing: 5830, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 155) Mecsér's Roland Ónodi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ferenc Dobránszky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mátyás Kántor having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, László Vörös had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mátyás Kántor. Mecsér's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that László Vörös was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Gergely Szigethy succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 19th playminute. In the 23rd minute, monoki fc.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zakariás Ábrahám fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, monoki fc.'s Benjámin Szigligeti got control of the ball when Gergely Szigethy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roland Laczkó's late challenge caught a monoki fc.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roland Laczkó helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Mecsér got a freekick which was hit by Roland Laczkó. Mecsér's Mátyás Kántor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by László Vörös in the 30th minute of play. Brúnó Bodnár's late challenge caught a Mecsér's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brúnó Bodnár helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mecsér booed when monoki fc. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brúnó Bodnár didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roland Ónodi ran back to his position shaking his head. Mecsér's Gergely Szigethy got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Mecsér's goal looked a bit too open when László Vörös came free, but Mátyás Kántor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. László Vörös received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Mátyás Kántor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute Lajos Mihály shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mátyás Kántor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lajos Mihály to make the kick off. Roland Ónodi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Benjámin Szigligeti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Mecsér got a freekick which was hit by Roland Laczkó. László Vörös kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 60thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Mecsér's keeper Mátyás Kántor was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. If László Vörös had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Roland Ónodi fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mecsér's protests and gave Roland Ónodi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mecsér's Roland Ónodi got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute, Lajos Mihály hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mátyás Kántor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lajos Mihály in the 76th minute of play. Mátyás Kántor made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when László Vörös sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute of the match Emil Koczka shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mátyás Kántor showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mecsér's zone, Lajos Mihály stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mátyás Kántor came out of the goal and Lajos Mihály tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
