Géza Szeszák started the match with the kick off. Rómeó Szaniszló showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koppány Sári, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. If Koppány Sári had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Senior Gárda FC's Olivér Szaniszló couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Várbalog AC. Koppány Sári received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Rómeó Szaniszló tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mátyás Puja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tibor Barabás, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Máté Gellért struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Rómeó Szaniszló didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Senior Gárda FC. Koppány Sári fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rómeó Szaniszló having to interfere. Mátyás Grosics fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rómeó Szaniszló having to interfere. If Tibor Barabás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the game, Norbert Joó was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Várbalog AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Senior Gárda FC the free kick. A collision led to Várbalog AC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Norbert Joó hit a great ball. Koppány Sári fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rómeó Szaniszló having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Várbalog AC's zone, Koppány Sári stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rómeó Szaniszló came out of the goal and Koppány Sári tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Senior Gárda FC's Koppány Sári ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rómeó Szaniszló. Rómeó Szaniszló yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Koppány Sári to strike the kick off in the second half. Mátyás Puja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Géza Szeszák, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Géza Szeszák ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mátyás Puja was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 61 minutes, Máté Gellért made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Várbalog AC's Rómeó Szaniszló tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 64th match minute, Várbalog AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Csongor Szőke to maneuver through the defense. Várbalog AC's Rómeó Szaniszló played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mátyás Grosics in the 74th minute of play. Máté Gellért recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mátyás Grosics kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Várbalog AC were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Senior Gárda FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roland Döbrögi took the corner. The corner led Várbalog AC's Roland Döbrögi to fire away a dangerous shot which Mátyás Puja despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rómeó Szaniszló made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máté Gellért in the 81st minute of play. Tibor Barabás took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mátyás Puja. Mátyás Puja dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. If Tibor Barabás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
