Rómeó Hegedűs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Homokmégy's Balázs Bósa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 19th minute Egon Havas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rómeó Hegedűs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rómeó Hegedűs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egon Havas in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, one of Borsodszirák:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Borsodszirák. In the 25th match minute, Homokmégy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ottó Kutasi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lajos Pádár in the 28th minute of play forced Borsodszirák's goalkeeper Rómeó Hegedűs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egon Havas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After recieving a nice pass, Homokmégy's Ottó Kutasi tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Borsodszirák's Rómeó Hegedűs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egon Havas in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Egon Havas made a precise shot to the right of Rómeó Hegedűs. Borsodszirák's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Egon Havas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Rómeó Hegedűs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Borsodszirák players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Homokmégy were winning 0-3.

A hard shot 51 in the game by Egon Havas from a close distance when the talented Rómeó Hegedűs managed to make a qualified save. Borsodszirák's players were relieved. When János Markó fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Borsodszirák's protests and gave János Markó a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Borsodszirák got a freekick which was hit by János Markó. Rómeó Hegedűs acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 54th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Balázs Bósa. In the 57th match minute, Borsodszirák was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by János Markó to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Borsodszirák's Rómeó Hegedűs got control of the ball when Egon Havas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Egon Havas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rómeó Hegedűs was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 67 minutes into the match, Borsodszirák's goal looked a bit too open when György Grósz came free, but Rómeó Hegedűs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Egon Havas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Homokmégy's Lajos Pádár sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rómeó Hegedűs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Csanád Vastag showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Csaba Almási in the 76th minute of the match. If Lajos Pádár had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egon Havas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Rómeó Hegedűs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rómeó Hegedűs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Borsodszirák's Rómeó Hegedűs got control of the ball when Lajos Pádár tried to sneak it across the goal line. Homokmégy's Lajos Pádár got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Homokmégy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Borsodszirák throughout the match.
