Putnok VSE's Viktor Vén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Csonka in the 3rd minute of play. Hugó Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Péter Havass having to interfere. After having played for 8 minutes, Dániel Szűcs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Putnok VSE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dániel Szűcs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Zakariás Pápai notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Putnok VSE's Viktor Vén. Viktor Vén was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zakariás Pápai in the 16th minute of play forced Putnok VSE's goalkeeper Viktor Vén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viktor Vén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gergely Medve in the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Putnok VSE's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Csonka came free, but Viktor Vén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Putnok VSE's Hugó Schmidt got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Viktor Vén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zakariás Pápai in the 24th minute of play. Viktor Vén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Csonka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugó Schmidt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Péter Havass made a huge save. In the 42nd minute, Zakariás Pápai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute, Kristóf Gömöri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Viktor Vén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gergely Medve, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Putnok VSE's goalkeeper Viktor Vén, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 71st minute of the match, Kristóf Gömöri got a very nice opportunity to score, but Viktor Vén was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Viktor Vén made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Kristóf Gömöri sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zakariás Pápai in the 74th minute of play forced Putnok VSE's goalkeeper Viktor Vén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-2 became the score in the 75th minute when Zakariás Pápai elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Viktor Vén made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristóf Gömöri in the 82nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kristóf Gömöri got free with Viktor Vén in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kristóf Gömöri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viktor Vén having to make a save. In the 87th match minute, Szeged SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Máté Kinizsi to maneuver through the defense. The referee gave Putnok VSE a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dániel Szűcs, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Szeged SE's Péter Havass. 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Szeged SE's zone, Attila Deák stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Péter Havass came out of the goal and Attila Deák tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Attila Deák recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
