The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Berekalja Diói's Marcell Erdei got a free kick in the 5th minute. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Mátyás Halász sped through Záhony FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Norbert Nagy. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Mátyás Halász managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berekalja Diói's supporters rose to their feet, but Mátyás Halász was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norbert Nagy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. György Kulcsár fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aigars Vagals having to interfere. A collision led to Záhony FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Illés Szűcs hit a great ball. Norbert Nagy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mátyás Halász, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Záhony FC's György Kulcsár got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 33 played minutes Berekalja Diói got a freekick which was hit by Gáspár Gerő. After having played for 35 minutes, György Kulcsár managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Záhony FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but György Kulcsár was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th match minute, Berekalja Diói was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vince Szekeres to maneuver through the defense. Aigars Vagals made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lajos Zakariás in the 39th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling György Kulcsár in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aigars Vagals prevented the ball from getting in the gole. György Kulcsár's late challenge caught a Berekalja Diói's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. György Kulcsár helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, György Kulcsár hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Záhony FC's Norbert Nagy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcell Erdei in the 56th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Berekalja Diói fans cheered their team off the field, for while Záhony FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
