In the 3rd minute, Attila Somogyi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dániel Selymes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Úttárs getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Attila Somogyi hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Munkás's Iván Vígh got a free kick in the 8th minute. Krisztián Radnai kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Dániel Selymes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but György Ballai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Úttárs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gábor Paál to maneuver through the defense. György Ballai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dániel Selymes, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 30 minutes into the game, Dániel Selymes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. György Ballai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd match minute, Munkás was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Attila Győri to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Úttárs's Attila Somogyi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kornél Kósa. Kornél Kósa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After having played for 41 minutes, Attila Somogyi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Úttárs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Attila Somogyi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Úttárs's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Noe came free, but György Ballai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attila Győri in the 46th minute of play forced Úttárs's goalkeeper György Ballai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, Úttárs's Kálmán Végvári dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Kálmán Végvári took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kornél Kósa. Kornél Kósa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. If Máté Vásárhelyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Úttárs's goalkeeper György Ballai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dániel Selymes. Roman Noe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. György Ballai came out and tried to block the shot, but Roman Noe slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 64th minute. György Ballai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attila Győri in the 68th minute of play. Kornél Kósa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kálmán Végvári, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Kálmán Végvári put it in 4-3 from a short distance just to the right of Kornél Kósa. Kornél Kósa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kálmán Végvári in the 79th minute of play. Kornél Kósa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attila Somogyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Munkás's Kornél Kósa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kálmán Végvári in the 82nd minute of play. The supporters of Munkás booed when Úttárs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balázs Czene didn't get a good kick on the ball. Attila Somogyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
