Spectators: 7916 (Terracing: 5982, Seating: 1834, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. György Kulcsár started the match with the kick off. Lajos Zakariás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Róbert Demeter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olivér Demeter had several of the Záhony FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Norbert Nagy as he didn't even see the shot coming. Lajos Zakariás took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Róbert Demeter. Róbert Demeter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The audience was convinced that Lajos Zakariás's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Róbert Demeter was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. A collision led to Somogyvár EAC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Olivér Demeter hit a great ball. When Záhony FC's György Kulcsár in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Róbert Demeter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 24 minutes, Olivér Demeter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Somogyvár EAC and the Záhony FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Olivér Demeter kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Olivér Demeter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Somogyvár EAC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Róbert Demeter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferenc Takács went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Záhony FC's zone, Ferenc Czibor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norbert Nagy came out of the goal and Ferenc Czibor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Somogyvár EAC's Olivér Demeter got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lajos Zakariás in the 41st minute of play forced Somogyvár EAC's goalkeeper Róbert Demeter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Endre Vágner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Somogyvár EAC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Záhony FC the free kick. In the 43rd minute, Endre Vágner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Somogyvár EAC's Róbert Demeter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by György Kulcsár in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 3-3 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olivér Demeter to strike the kick off in the second half. Róbert Demeter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from György Kulcsár in the 51st minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Zsolt Barabás got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emil Radics during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes Záhony FC got a freekick which was hit by Emil Radics. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Olivér Demeter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Somogyvár EAC's supporters rose to their feet, but Olivér Demeter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norbert Nagy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Róbert Demeter made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Lajos Zakariás sent off a good shot on target. 72 minutes into the match, Somogyvár EAC's goal looked a bit too open when György Kulcsár came free, but Róbert Demeter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Attila Mészáros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Nagy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Zsolt Barabás got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute, Norbert Vörös hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Záhony FC's Róbert Demeter threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from György Kulcsár, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ferenc Takács could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Róbert Demeter made a huge save. After having played for 89 minutes, Lajos Zakariás managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Záhony FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lajos Zakariás was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Somogyvár EAC's zone, Ferenc Takács stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Róbert Demeter came out of the goal and Ferenc Takács tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Somogyvár EAC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Lajos Zakariás scored to the left of an out of position Róbert Demeter, making the score, 3-4. The Záhony FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Záhony FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
