But to his dismay, Péter Jászberényi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After having played for 7 minutes, Boldizsár Imre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Hamar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boldizsár Imre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Félix Vándor managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Hamar's supporters rose to their feet, but Félix Vándor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernát Sass breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Béla Varsányi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Árpád Budai was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. With a little luck, AC Hamar's Árpád Budai got control of the ball when Péter Jászberényi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Béla Varsányi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Péter Jászberényi made a precise shot to the right of Árpád Budai. AC Hamar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Árpád Budai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Károlyi in the 62nd minute of play. Kálmán Szabó fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernát Sass having to interfere. Kálmán Szabó sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kálmán Magyar hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. When Béla Varsányi came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Nemesborzova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Béla Varsányi couldn't finish the play. Nemesborzova's Béla Varsányi got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kálmán Szabó received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Bernát Sass tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nemesborzova fans cheered their team off the field, for while AC Hamar had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
