A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Debrecen VSC's goal looked a bit too open when Miklós Dénes came free, but Egon Vásárhelyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Debrecen VSC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miklós Dénes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Miklós Dénes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Miklós Dénes came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the GRÁD FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miklós Dénes couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Debrecen VSC's Egon Vásárhelyi got control of the ball when Imre Balogh tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee ignored GRÁD FC's protests and gave Imre Balogh a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd match minute, GRÁD FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Imre Balogh to maneuver through the defense.
