Csanád Jánosi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gábor Boross, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Csanád Jánosi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gábor Boross in the 7th minute of the match. József Buday was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. Szabolcs's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 17th minute Norbert Szeszák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Csaba Vermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Csanád Jánosi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gábor Boross, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when József Buday got free with Csaba Vermes in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Norbert Szeszák sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Szabolcs's József Buday sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Csaba Vermes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, József Buday dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Csaba Vermes, 1-0. József Buday blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Csaba Vermes having to make a save. Levente Erőss charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Levente Erőss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th match minute, Szabolcs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Levente Erőss to maneuver through the defense. If Antal Szalai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If József Buday had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norbert Szeszák might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Csaba Vermes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Norbert Szeszák ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for József Buday to strike the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the match, Szabolcs's goalkeeper Csanád Jánosi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Szalai. In the 63rd minute, Szabolcs's Árpád Görbe seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Árpád Görbe the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Szabolcs protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Árpád Görbe had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Szabolcs fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! 1-1 came in the 66th minute when Géza Pataky all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Csanád Jánosi. Csanád Jánosi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Zénó Erőss. Leó Lendvay took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Csaba Vermes. Csaba Vermes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Kázmér Demeter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antal Szalai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Csanád Jánosi having to interfere. Alfréd Bács charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfréd Bács the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 89 played minutes Oszlár got a freekick which was hit by Alfréd Bács. Csaba Vermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kázmér Demeter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leó Lendvay hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Szabolcs players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
