Gábor Boross started the match with the kick off. Gábor Boross sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Debrecen VSC's goalkeeper Egon Vásárhelyi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Szalai. Endre Szűcs hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Gábor Boross received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Egon Vásárhelyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gábor Boross sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Gábor Boross's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Egon Vásárhelyi was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Csaba Vermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Endre Szűcs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Gyula Vadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Csaba Vermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Oszlár's zone, Endre Szűcs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Csaba Vermes came out of the goal and Endre Szűcs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gábor Boross received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Egon Vásárhelyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrián Fitos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Csaba Vermes having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrián Fitos to make the kick off. Dániel Szőke took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egon Vásárhelyi. Egon Vásárhelyi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Antal Szalai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Debrecen VSC! Egon Vásárhelyi had in the 61stth minute some difficulties stopping Géza Pataky's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 61 minutes of play, Oszlár's Géza Pataky made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Egon Vásárhelyi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dániel Szőke charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dániel Szőke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Oszlár getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Dániel Szőke hit a great ball. Debrecen VSC's Gyula Vadas got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gábor Boross in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egon Vásárhelyi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antal Szalai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egon Vásárhelyi having to interfere. Gábor Boross fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egon Vásárhelyi having to interfere. If Gábor Boross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Debrecen VSC's Tivadar Kozák got a free kick in the 77th minute. Egon Vásárhelyi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gábor Boross, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egon Vásárhelyi came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Oszlár's Antal Szalai. But to his dismay, Antal Szalai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 93rd minute, Antal Szalai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
