Mórahalom
Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Attila Csontos took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mórahalom's zone, Ákos Szepes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurél Gulyás came out of the goal and Ákos Szepes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 7 minutes into the match, Gyula Borsos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurél Gulyás. Mórahalom's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gyula Borsos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Mórahalom's Aurél Gulyás played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álmos Berecz in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mórahalom's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lajos Győrffy was slow to take the kick. During this time Zipfers's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Mórahalom getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Renátó Ballai hit a great ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Lajos Győrffy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zipfers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lajos Győrffy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Mórahalom booed when Zipfers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Imre Csonka didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes, Mórahalom's Renátó Ballai shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roland Kántor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mórahalom reached it. After 40 played minutes Zipfers got a freekick which was hit by Károly Véber. Roland Kántor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renátó Ballai in the 41st minute of play. Álmos Berecz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurél Gulyás having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ákos Szepes made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ignác Lakatos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mórahalom's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignác Lakatos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland Kántor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Renátó Ballai kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ákos Szepes got free with Aurél Gulyás in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute of the match Brúnó Nagy sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roland Kántor skillfully saved the ball. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Attila Csontos put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Roland Kántor. After 73 minutes of play, Zipfers's Ákos Szepes made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurél Gulyás was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Ákos Szepes got free with Aurél Gulyás in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Péter Kásás managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zipfers's supporters rose to their feet, but Péter Kásás was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurél Gulyás breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ignác Lakatos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ákos Szepes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Mórahalom's Aurél Gulyás got control of the ball when Ákos Szepes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zipfers's Roland Kántor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Túri in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Zipfers left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mórahalom.
