Spectators: 5934 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1834, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Attila Csontos kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mórahalom's zone, Sámuel Szűcs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurél Gulyás came out of the goal and Sámuel Szűcs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mórahalom's Aurél Gulyás proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Mórahalom from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sámuel Szűcs in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurél Gulyás prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Attila Csontos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Mitch Maes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurél Gulyás made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Zénó Sárközi sent off a good shot on target. If Zénó Sárközi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sámuel Szűcs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurél Gulyás having to interfere. With his leg Aurél Gulyás managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when FC Baia Mare's Zénó Sárközi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of FC Baia Mare booed when Mórahalom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Túri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd match minute, FC Baia Mare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dávid Bögi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by József Zádori in the 36th minute of play forced Mórahalom's goalkeeper Aurél Gulyás to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zoltán Kiss kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Baia Mare defense, Attila Csontos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mitch Maes. The FC Baia Mare fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mitch Maes should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zénó Sárközi was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Zoltán Kiss sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aurél Gulyás skillfully saved the ball. In the 64th match minute, FC Baia Mare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zoltán Kiss to maneuver through the defense. Norbert Túri was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Aurél Gulyás took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sámuel Szűcs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute Sámuel Szűcs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurél Gulyás saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Attila Csontos in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mitch Maes saved FC Baia Mare from getting behind. Norbert Túri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute Attila Csontos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mitch Maes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Attila Csontos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sámuel Szűcs's late challenge caught a Mórahalom's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sámuel Szűcs helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Baia Mare getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Sámuel Szűcs hit a great ball. Aurél Gulyás stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zénó Sárközi's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The FC Baia Mare supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mórahalom's performance. The match ended with a win for Mórahalom.
