Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bertold Kántor kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Vasas FC's Frigyes Gerebics got control of the ball when Mihály Hoffman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 7 minutes, Gáspár Salgó mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vasas FC and the Vöckönd players grew even worse after the yellow card. A hard shot by Bertold Kántor from long distance, 8 minutes into the match, got Frigyes Gerebics's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Áron Ballai fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vasas FC's protests and gave Áron Ballai a yellow card for diving instead. Áron Ballai hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When Rafael Újfalussy came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Vöckönd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Újfalussy couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Vöckönd's Mihály Hoffman got a free kick in the 15th minute. Rafael Újfalussy struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Frigyes Gerebics didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vöckönd. Tibor Váczi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from László Dudics, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes, Sándor Sánta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vasas FC and the Vöckönd players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute Rafael Újfalussy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frigyes Gerebics saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Vasas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bertold Kántor came free, but Frigyes Gerebics reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Újfalussy struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Frigyes Gerebics didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vöckönd. Rafael Újfalussys short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Frigyes Gerebics to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Vasas FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Sándor Sánta hit a great ball. Frigyes Gerebics showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertold Kántor, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute Miklós Sipos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tibor Váczi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With splendid footwork Bertold Kántor arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 40th minute. Tibor Váczi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miklós Sipos, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After a rather tough play, Vöckönd's Imre Gyárfás got a free kick in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Vasas FC's László Dudics nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tibor Váczi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miklós Sipos made a kick off. Vöckönd's Tibor Váczi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Vöckönd from getting a goal against them. Imre Gyárfás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frigyes Gerebics having to interfere. In the 57thth minute of the game Rafael Újfalussy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vasas FC's Frigyes Gerebics was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 59th minute, Rafael Újfalussy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vöckönd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Rafael Újfalussy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vöckönd's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Újfalussy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frigyes Gerebics breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute, László Dudics reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tibor Váczi. The goal made the score 3-2. Rafael Újfalussy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Vöckönd booed when Vasas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferenc Dárdai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frigyes Gerebics took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Újfalussy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihály Hoffman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86th minute, Sándor Sánta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mihály Hoffman in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frigyes Gerebics prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bertold Kántor in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frigyes Gerebics saved Vasas FC from getting behind. If Bertold Kántor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Imre Gyárfás put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Frigyes Gerebics.
