Imre Vajda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gyula Zombori having to interfere. After 9 played minutes Heretacskók got a freekick which was hit by Tibor Honti. Endre Jósa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from József Hollósi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Roland Medgyesi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute Imre Vajda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gyula Zombori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Football Fanatics's zone, Roland Medgyesi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gyula Zombori came out of the goal and Roland Medgyesi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gyula Zombori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Imre Vajda in the 24th minute of the match. Zoltán Pataki hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Imre Vajda in the 27th minute of play forced Football Fanatics's goalkeeper Gyula Zombori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Football Fanatics's goal looked a bit too open when Imre Vajda came free, but Gyula Zombori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gyula Zombori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Medgyesi in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, Football Fanatics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferenc Kiss to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Medgyesi in the 39th minute of play forced Football Fanatics's goalkeeper Gyula Zombori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Roland Medgyesi made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Imre Vajda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heretacskók's supporters crossed their fingers, but Imre Vajda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute, Imre Vajda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Heretacskók fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 64 minutes into the game, Attila Major was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Football Fanatics's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heretacskók the free kick. A collision led to Football Fanatics getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. The tension between the Heretacskók and the Football Fanatics players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gáspár Földesi hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Imre Vajdas short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Gyula Zombori to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. During the 93rd minute of the match Tibor Honti completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tibor Honti a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Football Fanatics booed when Heretacskók was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibor Honti didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Milán Szőnyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. József Hollósi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Endre Jósa having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Heretacskók left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Football Fanatics.
