In the 2nd match minute, Heretacskók was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olivér Soltész to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 4 minutes, Pál Sárkány managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gádoros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pál Sárkány was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Imre Vajda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ádám Sámuel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olivér Szabó's late challenge caught a Heretacskók's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olivér Szabó helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Gádoros got a freekick which was hit by Olivér Szabó. Ádám Sámuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Medgyesi in the 16th minute of play. If Roland Medgyesi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Gádoros's Emánuel Bódi got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 26 played minutes Gádoros got a freekick which was hit by György Zolnai. 39 minutes into the match, Gádoros's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Medgyesi came free, but Ádám Sámuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Gádoros's Endre Jósa threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pál Sárkány, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Imre Vajda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pál Sárkány stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tibor Varga during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Gádoros:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Heretacskók:s goal. Imre Vajda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Ádám Sámuel made a huge save. Imre Vajda scored 0-5 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ádám Sámuel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 76 minutes of play Gádoros's Olivér Szabó was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 77 played minutes Gádoros got a freekick which was hit by Olivér Szabó. 81 minutes into the match, Heretacskók's goal looked a bit too open when Endre Mátrai came free, but Endre Jósa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Ádám Sámuel managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Heretacskók's Imre Vajda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 84th minute, Pál Sárkány hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ádám Sámuel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zénó Hellinger, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Gádoros's goalkeeper Ádám Sámuel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Imre Vajda. 90 minutes into the match, Heretacskók's Roland Medgyesi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ádám Sámuel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Imre Vajda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Heretacskók booed when Gádoros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ábel Szaniszló didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 played minutes, Heretacskók's Márk Almási shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ádám Sámuel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Heretacskók reached it. Heretacskók's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
