Olivér Szakály made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milán Szőnyi in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Bükki Miskolc FC's goal looked a bit too open when József Hollósi came free, but Olivér Szakály reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 played minutes Football Fanatics got a freekick which was hit by Milán Szőnyi. Gyula Zombori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zalán Zarka in the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of Football Fanatics booed when Bükki Miskolc FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remigio Segio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Bükki Miskolc FC's Olivér Szakály got control of the ball when Milán Szőnyi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bükki Miskolc FC's Zoltán Lehoczky got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Remigio Segio hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The supporters of Football Fanatics booed when Bükki Miskolc FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Regis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bükki Miskolc FC's zone, Béla Berki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olivér Szakály came out of the goal and Béla Berki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olivér Szakály took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from József Hollósi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by József Hollósi in the 33rd minute of play forced Bükki Miskolc FC's goalkeeper Olivér Szakály to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Football Fanatics getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Attila Major hit a great ball. Zalán Zarka struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Gyula Zombori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bükki Miskolc FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zalán Zarka in the 41st minute of play forced Football Fanatics's goalkeeper Gyula Zombori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zalán Zarka blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gyula Zombori having to make a save. Bükki Miskolc FC's Remigio Segio got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zalán Zarka to make the kick off. Remigio Segio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 52nd minute. Bükki Miskolc FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Remigio Segio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 played minutes Football Fanatics got a freekick which was hit by József Hollósi. In the 64th minute Milán Szőnyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olivér Szakály saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Zoltán Pataki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olivér Szakály was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Olivér Szakály made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milán Szőnyi in the 71st minute of play. Olivér Szakály showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from József Hollósi, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Olivér Szakály took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milán Szőnyi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anastasio Regis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gyula Zombori having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Zénó Dobránszky managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bükki Miskolc FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zénó Dobránszky was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gyula Zombori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zalán Zarka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gyula Zombori having to interfere.
