Yarema Gurzhiy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Adnan Nurpijal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Rajmund Asztalos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krisztián Szentes got free with Ferenc Seres in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Yarema Gurzhiy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szögligeti SE's supporters rose to their feet, but Yarema Gurzhiy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The Ferenc Seres was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Igor Sobetskyi hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Krisztián Szentes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The Szögligeti SE supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Szögligeti SE would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
