But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Balázs Boross couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute, Pál Vásárhelyi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Balázs Boross had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Arnold Tóth came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Taposó.Fc fans jumped to their feet. The Taposó.Fc fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Taposó.Fc's Pál Vásárhelyi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Balázs Boross sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pál Vásárhelyi might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leó Szívós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pál Vásárhelyi ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Roxan Futball-Klub's Levente Dobos got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Roxan Futball-Klub's goal looked a bit too open when Balázs Boross came free, but Leó Szívós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leó Szívós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pál Vásárhelyi in the 28th minute of play. Leó Szívós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pál Vásárhelyi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnold Tóth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leó Szívós having to interfere. If Pál Vásárhelyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pál Vásárhelyi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Leó Szívós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnold Tóth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leó Szívós having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Roxan Futball-Klub's zone, Pál Vásárhelyi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leó Szívós came out of the goal and Pál Vásárhelyi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leó Szívós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pál Vásárhelyi in the 43rd minute of the match. Balázs Boross's late challenge caught a Roxan Futball-Klub's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Balázs Boross helped the player get up and apologised. Lajos Dankó could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Vendel Lengyel made a huge save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flórián Szikora to strike the kick off in the second half. Pál Vásárhelyi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Leó Szívós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 54 minutes into the game, when Máté Huszti put in a rough tackle. If Pál Vásárhelyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pál Vásárhelyi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Leó Szívós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Gyula Győri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taposó.Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gyula Győri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ola Wiberg struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Leó Szívós didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taposó.Fc. In the 71st minute, Károly Hegyi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 played minutes Taposó.Fc got a freekick which was hit by István Dala. Vendel Lengyel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lajos Dankó, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vendel Lengyel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lajos Dankó in the 81st minute of play. When Kornél Soltész fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Roxan Futball-Klub's protests and gave Kornél Soltész a yellow card for diving instead. Kornél Soltész hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Leó Szívós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pál Vásárhelyi in the 83rd minute of play. In the 92nd minute Lajos Dankó shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vendel Lengyel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flórián Szikora's late challenge caught a Taposó.Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flórián Szikora helped the player get up and apologised. After 97 minutes of play, Taposó.Fc's Pál Vásárhelyi made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leó Szívós was left in no man's land by his defense there! Taposó.Fc's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
