An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurél Kuti in the 3rd minute of play forced Bp. Erőmű SE's goalkeeper Norbert Túri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Bp. Erőmű SE's goal looked a bit too open when Aurél Kuti came free, but Norbert Túri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Szabolcs Sinkó sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Lóránd Demeter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pál Bártfai was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 15th match minute, Telki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurél Kuti to maneuver through the defense. After 21 played minutes Telki got a freekick which was hit by Ákos Kulcsár. If Szabolcs Sinkó had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. József Vincze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Adorján Csányi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Telki's Pál Bártfai. Pál Bártfai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Lóránd Demeter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurél Kuti kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bp. Erőmű SE's Endre Bakos got a free kick in the 40th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Szabolcs Sinkó was the one to do the kick off. Lóránd Demeter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Pál Bártfai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Szabolcs Sinkó's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norbert Túri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Bp. Erőmű SE getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Zsolt Szigeti hit a great ball. Aurél Kuti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Aurél Kuti made a precise shot to the right of Norbert Túri. Bp. Erőmű SE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Lóránd Demeter hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Tibor Baróti took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Norbert Túri. Bp. Erőmű SE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Zsolt Szigeti came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Bp. Erőmű SE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zsolt Szigeti couldn't finish the play. Pál Bártfai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zsolt Szigeti in the 94th minute of play. When Aurél Kuti came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Telki fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurél Kuti couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Szabolcs Sinkó managed to get in a good position for a shot. Telki's supporters rose to their feet, but Szabolcs Sinkó was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norbert Túri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bp. Erőmű SE's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
