Telki's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurél Kuti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pál Czene breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Zoltan players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Telki were winning 1-2.

Pál Bártfai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gică Petran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Zoltan booed when Telki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurél Kuti didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute, Aurél Kuti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dömötör Végh during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 65 played minutes Telki got a freekick which was hit by Dömötör Végh. In the 66th minute, Gică Petran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zoltan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. If Esteban Fidencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. Gică Petran scored 3-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pál Bártfai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute, Dömötör Végh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, Telki's goal looked a bit too open when Bertold Fehér came free, but Pál Bártfai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
