Lóránd Demeter scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miklós Márton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ottó Szőlősi charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ottó Szőlősi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, one of Bp. Erőmű SE:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bp. Erőmű SE. When the match had been going on for 11 minutes, SC Anderlecht's Lukács Mihály got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Norbert Túri. Antal Tímár sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antal Tímár scored 2-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Norbert Túri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the SC Anderlecht defense, Lóránd Demeter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miklós Márton. The SC Anderlecht fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miklós Márton should have stopped the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Bp. Erőmű SE's goalkeeper Norbert Túri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Tímár. Antal Tímár who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Norbert Túri when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Bp. Erőmű SE defense, Antal Tímár kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norbert Túri. The Bp. Erőmű SE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norbert Túri should have stopped the shot. Antal Tímár received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Norbert Túri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bp. Erőmű SE's Norbert Túri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tamás Vida in the 41st minute of play. Tamás Vida received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Norbert Túri came out and tried to block the shot, but Tamás Vida slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Lóránd Demeter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Norbert Túri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tamás Vida, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Balázs Gervai charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Balázs Gervai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Balázs Gervai kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When SC Anderlecht's Tamás Vida in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bp. Norbert Túri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Tímár in the 65th minute of the match. Lóránd Demeter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Miklós Márton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lóránd Demeter in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miklós Márton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bp. Erőmű SE's Zsolt Szigeti got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tamás Vida in the 75th minute of play forced Bp. Erőmű SE's goalkeeper Norbert Túri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute Antal Tímár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Túri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norbert Túri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tamás Vida in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Bp. Erőmű SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Endre Bakos to maneuver through the defense. After 83 minutes, Lóránd Demeter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bp. Erőmű SE and the SC Anderlecht players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes Bp. Erőmű SE got a freekick which was hit by Lóránd Demeter. In the 86th minute Tamás Vida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Túri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 minutes of play, SC Anderlecht's Tamás Vida made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Norbert Túri was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antal Tímár sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Anderlecht fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bp. Erőmű SE had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
