Erőmű SE's goal looked a bit too open when József Vincze came free, but Norbert Túri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7thth minute of the game Dömötör Végh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bp. Erőmű SE's Norbert Túri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aurél Kuti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Norbert Túri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Telki's Dömötör Végh in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bp. Erőmű SE's goalie prevented a goal. In the 14th minute, Ottó Szőlősi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Szabolcs Sinkó made a precise shot to the right of Norbert Túri. Bp. Erőmű SE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Dömötör Végh might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Norbert Túri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dömötör Végh ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Szabolcs Sinkó in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norbert Túri saved Bp. Erőmű SE from getting behind. When Ákos Kulcsár fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Telki's protests and gave Ákos Kulcsár a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Telki's Ákos Kulcsár got a free kick in the 21st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurél Kuti in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norbert Túri saved Bp. Erőmű SE from getting behind. 29 minutes into the game, Szabolcs Sinkó was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Telki's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bp. Erőmű SE the free kick. Adorján Csányi charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adorján Csányi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adorján Csányi kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Norbert Túri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dömötör Végh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th match minute, Bp. Erőmű SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Endre Bakos to maneuver through the defense. Aurél Kuti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44 minutes, Zsolt Szigeti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bp. Erőmű SE and the Telki players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zsolt Szigeti kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. József Vincze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dömötör Végh to make the kick off. When Zsolt Szigeti came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Bp. Erőmű SE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zsolt Szigeti couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 56 in the game by Szabolcs Sinkó from a close distance when the talented Norbert Túri managed to make a qualified save. Bp. Erőmű SE's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when József Vincze got free with Norbert Túri in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Norbert Túri made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Szabolcs Sinkó sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute, József Vincze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th match minute, Telki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szabolcs Sinkó to maneuver through the defense. Zsolt Szigeti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurél Kuti struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Norbert Túri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Telki. József Vincze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dömötör Végh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Norbert Túri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Dömötör Végh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Telki's supporters rose to their feet, but Dömötör Végh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norbert Túri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If József Vincze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Telki's Norbert Túri threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dömötör Végh, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Norbert Túri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dömötör Végh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bp. Erőmű SE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dömötör Végh was slow to take the kick. During this time Telki's players had a chance to rest. In the 98th minute Telki were awarded a corner. Dömötör Végh went to the cornerflag to take it.
