After a rather tough play, SSC Nápolyi's Zsolt Lencse got a free kick in the 14th minute. Gábor Weszely took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Béla Dudás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gábor Weszely showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bálint Lovas in the 18th minute of the match. With 20 minutes on the clock, Gergely Tihanyi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Gábor Weszely made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfréd Bodrogi in the 34th minute of play. Alfréd Bodrogi struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Gábor Weszely didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pécsi Mecsek FC. When Béla Dudás came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Pécsi Mecsek FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Béla Dudás couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Béla Dudás made a kick off. Béla Dudás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Gábor Weszely tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alfréd Bodrogi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. Béla Dudás could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Gábor Weszely made a huge save. 70 minutes into the game, Alfréd Bodrogi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gábor Weszely. Alfréd Bodrogi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Béla Dudás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gábor Weszely having to interfere. SSC Nápolyi's Gábor Weszely played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfréd Bodrogi in the 77th minute of play. Krisztián Sipos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gábor Weszely read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SSC Nápolyi's zone, Alfréd Bodrogi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gábor Weszely came out of the goal and Alfréd Bodrogi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gábor Weszely was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alfréd Bodrogi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 86 minute of play. In the 90th minute, SSC Nápolyi's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Béla Dudás fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
